bag seed?

i keep reading peoples posts and journals where they are growing plants from bag seed. i don't think i have had a single seed in a bag of weed in well over a decade. is it common to find seeds these days? i remember back in the 70's it was harder to find sinsemilla. most bags needed to be de-seeded. but i thought that today, the only way to get seeds was through seed houses. don't get me wrong, i don't want seedy weed but does one ask for weed with seeds?

Their not as lucky as you to have good quality product available or maybe they can't afford it.
The point is that their buying Mexican brick weed. Mostly it's a northern Mex Sativa that's poor quality and poorly grown. Other then to learn growing, The reason to grow it is beyond me!

Commercial weed has seed sensimilla is seedless. In the last year I've gathered 4 seeds. I have them from good bags that blessed me with a seed or two. But growing it with no males around will make it sensimilla and grown to full potential. Two yrs ago I grew good miss and it turned out tasteless and the second strongest weed I ever smoked. Butyea every once in a while u get some really good mmiss that will give u a couple seeds

The bagseed I get is from some killer... But i guess maybe it depends on who grew it, and how far down the chain you are. When i pick up, its from a very large quantity. Possibly a step down from the grow house. Either way, maybe ill get a seed or two per batch. But i can see, if i were a few more people down the chain, those two seeds wouldnt be there.

Havent touched brick weed in ages. I aslo had a thought.... I wonder what brick weed looks like BEFORE all that processing. Its gotta look fairly decent, right? Maybe it was some killer at one time, either harvest early, or too late. Then cured ass backwards. Bricked, then urinated on, defecated on, had some dirty mexicans fucking on it, Then it gets thrown into a river, then dried, then unbricked, then broken down into skimp dime bags, than stuck in a back pocket on the bus for a few hours, all sweaty and shit. THEN FINALLY gets to you and rolled in your joint. Hahaha Maybe, right?

i live in the north east so i don't think we get any mexican brick weed up this way anymore. and btw - the weed i was getting, though i would have considered it good back in the day, isn't shit compared to what i have grown in my first 2 grows. i read somewhere that a lot of people who grow to sell will run the buds over a screen and essentially remove the trichs from the outside to make keif so maybe that is why what i have bought in the last decade was not as potent as my home grown. another explanation could be that out west there are outdoor grows or even wild cannabis plants that have some males in their population and the pollen gets spread by the wind. it is very rare that anyone would grow outside this far north so their is very little chance of some airborne pollen accidentally wrecking a crop.
