Bagseed theory

Is it safe to assume that if you have bagseed your seeds are pretty much feminized? If you don't understand, what I mean is since a male plant produces all different seeds and no bud, and a female/hermie plant produces bud/seed, that would be feminized seed correct? Correctly assuming that bagseed is feminized seed.

Females produce flowers, if pollinated they then start to produce seeds. If pollen came from a regular male, those seeds will be a mix of m/f seeds.
If a female was forced to hermie, using the extra long flower stage, or the silver method, the pollen from these packs will contain all female DNA. The resulting pollinated female will begin to make seeds that are all female.

The male does not "make" seeds... It makes pollen that is contained in little sacks.

Male plants produce pollen, nothing more. Seeds come from female plants that have been pollenated by male plants. I wish bagseed were all fem seeds, it would save me a lot of time and effort.

Just like a human, the pollen is what determines the sex in a cannabis plant. You can create feminized pollen and if the feminized pollen is used to pollinate any female then you get feminized seeds. Normal male plants have both male/female chromosomes in the pollen but if a true female is forced into hermie then it will only have the female chromosome in the pollen. A female hermied into producing male flowers is a lot different then a genetically male plant.

Times have changed for most in the USA , not too long ago most of us spoke of bag seed from imports . Those most times not were field pollinated by males and bag seed was a whole different world . The average bag seed found in domestic now is mainly hermaphroditic so be careful .

The reason people assume they are prob in their opinions, fems is because if a female makes some "hermie" male flowers and pollinates herself the seeds reated would be all female since they only carry the x chromosome from the female, and they think it is more likely that a couple male flowers went unnoticed in a grow op vs them letting an entire male plant spread its possibly male genetics.
