Does baking powder do the same as baking soda for ph levels. how much of what to use?

How much baking soda to use? depends how much you want your pH to change.
Experiment-
Get a gallon of water
Find out the pH of that gallon of water.
Add Baking Soda, try and shoot for a .5 pH change
once you find out how much baking soda changes the pH .5
you'll have an accurate reference.
