balcony growers

Hey guys looking for ideas to make the most of a small balcony grow, the balcony im growing on is north facing (southern hemi) but literally 2m from a busy central city footpath. Im not so worried about smell, and Im going to grow peas and tomatoes around the balcony bars to create a camoflauge, however, how have people made the most of the light availible and also create an aspect of stealth?

Just looking for ideas to better my own.

grow some cleome. The leaves look the same and it will flower in the (winter) summer? IDK your on the other side of the equator.

grow onions garlic and and get a pack of kitchen herbs to help cover the smell, and to cook with. also you can pin fake flowers on your plants. sounds stupid but people see flowers and don't look to close
