Ballast Troubles

So I picked up a 400watt Sun System reflective shield and a hortilux bulb however it did not come with a ballast. I like the slinder style ballast but I am confused if it will work with the sun system I have. The plug has 2 circle posts and a normal outlet prong. The ballast I am looking at it the correct holes however one of the circles is flat on the bottom. Does anyone know if it will work or do I have to go with an actual Sun System ballast, the big boxy white ones?

get the smae plug system or if u rig it it will maybe void warranty
unless used then we can come up with a hack wire job

they sell plugs that will plug right into both.. i guess it's called a conversion plug.. i ran into the same exact problem with my ballast.. the plug costs idk, i think it was under like $20 or so.. i forget what exactly it's called, but if you google plugs for sun system hoods and what ever ballasts, i'm sure you'll find it..
give me a second, and i'll try and find what i'm talking about for you... brb..

Thanks im going to give them a call. I really did not want to have to get the big bulky box. Any brands you would stay away from?
