ballasts

From what I could see, they are not switchable. Honestly, I think you may regret getting those in the future. JMO.

It's a generic digital ballast... that about sums it up. It will work - not as well as say a lumatek, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper. Easily equivalent to HTGs digital which people here seem to think works alright.

......(unless of course the digitals work for HPS and M/H. Havent made the switch yet, but I've noticed some say they work for both and some don't say at all, so I'm just assuming if it doesn't say so, it won't be switchable)

I have 12 core and coils, but wanted to run an incompatible Sunpulse bulb. Their number one recommendation was the Phantom.
That is what I got and it is more than I expected. But as it is the only one I own there is no comparison to make.
I always understood the digital ballasts would fire any bulb rated digital, be it HPS or HID.
Warnings all over my instructions about don't use bulbs not rated digital, didn't see any exceptions noted. An M59 probe start bulb will physically break in an electronic ballast is the for instance given.
