Banana tea?

I'll say this just once. Take a gram of calcium nitrate and place it on the counter. You'll see granules.

Take a bunch of chicken shit and refine it. Once the liquids and the fiber are removed and it's refined you'll have a pile of elemental salts. They just went through the chicken first and in tastier forms. The idea that you're "getting away from salts" is a total fallacy. It's a complete lack of understanding basic chemistry.

Sorry man. I went past the basic chemistry class. Can u perhaps put it any more simple?

Don't wanna use salts. That's why I asked about the banana peel tea. Tryna do it different.
Thanks for that by the way :bigjoint:
I think you should read into what Harley is saying here. Lots of truth to this.

Sure you can have living soil. Feed the soil that feeds the plants.

A plant has a diet of micro and macros and doesn't really care whos feeding them as long as they are getting fed.

But to each their own. Good luck on your grow.

I use salts for my outdoor plants. I have 1 indoor plant which is in about day 20 of flower. I have heard about this banana peel tea so I wanted to find out if there were any other growers who know of this or even better, given it a try and what were the results like. Thanks for all the info guys. Really appreciate

It's way older than RIU. It's a staple in organic gardening. Go for it.
