:leaf::leaf:Alright guys this is my second grow. I've got 3 P.E. going and a bag seed i got out of some grape ape.I just planted the bag seed to mess around with some lst work,ive never done it before so i figured i would experiment with it since it didn't cost me anything.I also have a new 400w hydro hippo grow light from earth worth,but i don't have it hooked up yet because im still waiting on my fan and filter to show up.Tell me what yall think,and i was wondering how much this 400 watter will improve my grow,i have only grown with florecents so far so im hoping this new setup will improve things once i get it hooked up.O and the girls are about 2 weeks old.:leaf::leaf:

Barney's Pineapple Express is an awesome strain. Those are some short plants for three weeks, I had the same thing occur with a CFL veg, didn't stretch an inch. The 400 will do wonders, if possible try to use both lights. I would hook the 400 up considering your garden shouldn't be terribly smelly for a week or two.

im just worried about heat stress.its fine in my box with the cfls and tube florecents but i dont think i have good enough ventilation to hook it up yet,my fan should show up by monday at least.and i apologize for the miss type,its only about 15 days old,i thought i hit the 2 but i hit the 3 on accident,im still getting used to this new key board..lol

Well if they're two weeks instead of three then I stand corrected. You could certainly wait until your exhaust and whatnot arrives and be safe. As for the heat, it's 88* in my tent currently. I figure the extra 200 watts of light is worth the extra heat. At least until I see evidence suggesting my plants are too hot. For two weeks those are very nice.

Yea i just got a new computer and i used to have one of those little notebooks,so now when i type im always misspelling shit and what not..thanks for the compliment man i hope to have some real beauties pretty soon

The key for the HPS is going to be controlling your ambient temps. If you have a sufficient fan on it then it will keep your grow room on average 10 degrees higher then outside of the room. For me to run my 600 at full blast I need my ambient temps to be at least 65 cause I like to keep my room at 75. With a 400 i can get away with 67-69 degrees ambient temps. Good Luck!, Im excited to see another Pineapple Express from Barneys Farm. Ive got four in the mail as we speak cause I absolutely loved the last one I grew out.

alright i hooked up the 400 and im trying to keep her in the 80 to 85 range,i sure wish i had my inline fan about now,but im going to try and make it work for me for a few days!!

no i have a homeade grow box,its pretty well built, 5ftx4ftx2ft,im going to be buying a tent here in a couple months but this box did well for me on my first grow

I wasn't optimistic on the tent until I had to take it down and hide my plants in a fridge and various rubbermaids. I'm considering buying another smaller tent (3 x 2 x 5) to slap in the corner and clone this Blue Hash plant that's been festering in my corner for two months.

yea you might be able to use a duct splitter perhaps.I sealed up my box and temps jumped to 93,so i just opened the door a little and got it to stablize at around 88.that shouldnt be too hot should it??

Mine's at 86* currently. Ambient temp at 66*. It gets 20* hotter in that bastard with 4 fans, a cool tube and exhaust into the attic. Dayum.

:bigjoint::bigjoint:here are my girls in there new home,#3 P.E. from barneys farm and a bag seed grape ape.PE are 16 days old and the ga is 3 wks old.All in FFOF,w/ additional perilite.400w MH till i see signs of sex then i will switch to 400w HPS.18/6 light cycle and i have stabilized temps at around 83 degrees F.I also have ff grow big and big bloom.I havnt fed yet because there has been no need.I might only feed during the flower cycle if i can get away with it.Wish me luck im hoping for some real beauties!!!:bigjoint::bigjoint::leaf:

I grew some of the Pineapple express Auto last summer, Didn't impress me much on yield but the smell and stickyness were definitely A+, too bad they were so damn prone to mold and mildew, i give this strain a 6.5/10.

I had my Barney's Pineapple Express in a fridge with mold/bleach issues for 18 hours hiding from the landlord. It was the only strain that didn't develop the "fridge disease".

I disagree with your mold claims.
