Basement grow

OK, firstly sorry for the no pics , but i'm starting a new grow in a basement,I want to seal the room completely but the only problem is just above the basement is the kitchen, the basement roof is only joists and the kitchen floorboards, I need advice on how to completely seal the ceiling so no smell will rise through the floorboards, boarding the ceiling is out the question mainly because its awkward with all the pipes running along the basement ceiling so i come today to seek your ideas and suggestions on how i can acheive a completely 100% airtight sealed room.

Panda Film. White plastic sheeting by the roll. Duct tape and a staple gun...I'm in the basement and am thinking of sealing the whole thing as well.

or you could just build large box and set up fans, then setup a carbon filter on one of the exhaust fans to neutralize the odor

...and if your like me in the basement you have gas burning equipment (i.e. water heater, gas furnace) utilize that for your c02...no need to get fancy with co2 generators if you have that already.

Sum, I grow in the basement and it's right under the kitchen. I don't think that trying to seal the basement is the answer, the kitchen is going to stink. Trust me on this, I know. Ona and a carbon filter and fan set up.

you'll be fine, the smell wont seep through the floor boards my man. if some how it does, buy a cheap vapor tech. that should control a whole hell of alot of the smell. good luck!
