Hey man, I've seen that behavior once before and it wasn't mine. My advice was to get rid of it. You want to grow a plant with vigor, right?

Its a personal choice I suppose.... I personally would have yanked that one 20 days ago....
Ya but it's no biggie just to keep it under the seedling lights. Solo Cup with low water intake so I don't mind. Though I also agree because it's annoying. Lol.

That soil looks pretty dire, guessing that is your problem. No perlite and full of wood equals wet and acidic.
Ya your totally right. I didn't think before I planted in the solo cup. I always mix before planting with my additives. I messed up on this one but my other 3 are growing great ! That's not an excuse because I realize every plant grows different.

Thanks for your help and tips !

That plant is garbage. Sorry. I’ve had 4 seeds do that to me in the last month. I was using promix with some perlite tossed in it as well under an Led 3000k screw in bulb. 60watt replacement and a heat pad for roots. When I decided to pull the plants they barely had roots. It’s like the taproot got smaller. Not sure why. So I’m trying again.

Mine was like that for a day and a bit and I almost scrapped it. Only didn’t because I started soaking it on my dads birthday and it popped on Christmas. Looking good now though at exactly one month old today. 62F5B541-2E83-48E9-B004-639EA8E13D72.jpeg97149FD6-21E3-404A-B6C2-045027F4765B.jpeg

Fair enough.

I did use a toothpick to kind of “help” it by opening it up. Got told not to mess with it but did anyway and I think I helped.

The op has been like that for 3 weeeks. It ain’t bouncing back. @Way2-High you say you’res is a month. Op is 3 weeeks already. If you’re is a month you have so much growth in him.

Weed plants don’t take super long to grow. You should see progress. In 3 weeeks he’s seen the same thing where as over 4 weeks you have seen a huge transformation. His plant is dunzo

I was trying to finalize the fact that it’s garbage.

I wasn’t sure. I thought you may have. But I was super fucking baked last night. I wasn’t sure if you were trying to say it was okay but then the timeline was totally off between you and the OP. Haha. I had that issue with some seedlings. No idea why. It’s straight bitch. Blew through 4 seeds with that issue. I think my first 3 were under watered and my last one was over watered ahaha. Hoping this one does better. Gotta check on it soon.

So it's lost coast Hashplant (Humbolt seeds) and it has been this way for a while now... 3 weeks. What's going on ? Should I give up on it ? It's green so it's alive but not doing much.

The first picture is it now.
The second is 3 weeks ago.
I literally cut this seed in half and it germinated, but it lived and was very weak in early stages. Just gave her tap water and put an LED bulb over her for 24/0 and she eventually got enough energy to start growing. The cotyledons were trash. By all accounts this plant should not have made it.

My advice cut back on the watering and give her 24/0 light until she perks up.

P.S. According to the date stamps, those pics are only 12 days apart.

Just looking at those pictures it's easy to see you've been over watering it. In the one shot the whole cup is soaking wet. In the other picture you can tell the soil has been getting soaked and then settling. Seedlings only need the tiniest amount of water.

I think it will be hard this seedling to recover, but maybe possible. I had a seedling almost die one time that later ended up being a very nice and special plant. I am very glad I saved it.
