Beetle found

Can anyone advise me on this little critter. I have just found this on my in flower girl(UK). Its around 6mm. I have checked all the plants and couldn't see anymore. I also inspected the leaves and no signs of eggs/mites. Thank you.

They won't hurt anything unless maybe an army of them tramples everything. It's fairly common now that I have an idea of them. We don't find too many, but sometimes the old Snoots and Boots gets on the bud! I take pictures of them if I see them!

It could be a hungry bed bug. They swell and turn darker when they are full of blood. There are different varieties, but very similar to your picture.

Definitely not the same bug. This should not have entered the chat even cuz it's on skin.

Looks little bit like a stink bug.but anybug indoor eather eats the leaf or shits on it.and no rain to wash it is great for mold

Thanks for replies. Its a commom Birch catkin. It must have been on me as I have just pruned a birch.
