Ok so you guys suggest another fan to be attached to the anti-smell machine? And instead use the current fan for intake? Does that mean I would have to cut into the tent to make an opening for another fan?

And althor thanks for you advice. What do you suggest that I do? Is another fan satisfactory or should I look at getting another lighting hood?

Cheers all,

no you dont need to cut another opening there are two openings in the tent one to run your intake and one to run your exaust look here inout.pngand yes get a 5" rvk extractor fan ang a 5" to 4" reducer. or you can go and buy 10 meteres of duct £65-100 air cooled shade and another fan. either way you need another fan lol

that ballast is really cheap. it's gonna eat your bulbs really fast... you'll end up replacing them about once a month. also the exhaust fan is too small for 600 watt. i wouldn't buy it.

Thanks guys appreciate the help.

I've been thinking about going down the route of having three tents, one for vegetating, one for flowering, as well as another small one for mothering. What do you guys think? I was hoping to have a regular harvest this way. However, I want to keep my electricity usage down to about 1.5-2kw/h do you think this is feasible. I have around 4 metres by 1.5 metre space available in a loft. There are already power sockets up there.

Could anyone advise me on all the equipment I would need for it to be a safe and effective grow? I was thinking about a 600 watt for flowering, a 250 watt for vegetating and something small to keep a mother plant alive indefinitely? Am I on the right track here or am I just talking crap lol?

Also what do you guys think about police helicopters and such? Have I got a serious risk of getting caught, or do you think a small scale operation like I have described in a standard insulated loft would not attract the attention of the authorities?

God bless

Look for a similar kit with a digital dimmable ballast. Also a cool-tube lamp design can make it easier to manage heat issues in a small tent.
