Bending mothers?

So I have limited space and am curious about bending over mother plants in an effort to maximize clone output in the space I have. I figure if more light gets to the leaves/branches on one side, it will grow more branches than an upright plant in the same conditions.

I'm sure most of you have at least seen the technique of bending over flowering plants, but I have searched and haven't seen this question asked before pertaining to mothers.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. Pic is related but not me, used to aid in description.

I do this, it works. I topped, then bend those two branches out really horizontal.
Then I got a good dozen or so cuttings popping up, each node along the branches turned into a perfect clone. (more given more time)

Side benefit if you flower the mother: If you take lots of cuts, you'll inherently lollipop the plant.

I was gonna lay mine almost horizontal with the floor. Gently, over time of course.

You can train that mother any which way you choose buddy. Some strains respond poorly to being topped and so you have bend them instead of top them in order to get more side branching. My tangerine power is a heavy indica leaner and vegs slow with very little side growth so I had to ben her over to get side growth going.
