Beneficial bacteria can I get away without?

Hello all,

I've just started a grow to ensure that if there is a shortage, or price skyrockets in the coming months I have something to smoke on. My question is do I need beneficial bacteria I have already over spent getting to where I am. Even if I just get through veg and add them for flower.

I have two plants growing in 7gal smart pots under 400watt MH. They will flower under one 400 watt HPS each. I am growing in promix, unamended .I am using general hydroponic veg and bloom nutes with Remo cal mag. Thanks.

@xtsho is correct. No need for it especially when using hydro nutes for your feed. I've experimented with added myco and organic inputs with my ProMix HP and was always better with straight HP and 3-part nutes. I'm now of the firm conviction that either go all hydro or all organic tho I wouldn't balk at using something hydro to supplement in organics or to help with a difficult deficiency.

:peace:

You don't need the bennies with chelated nutrients. I grew for over 20 years without and still run without on occasion.

Thanks everybody for the responses, one follow up that I accidentally omitted from my first post the nutrients are the general hydroponic organic line does that mean I should get them?

I certainly won't hurt anything if you do get some and may benefit the plants as you're using the organic line. If it's not going to hurt your wallet then I say go for it. Something with carbs feeds the micro-herd too. Organic unsulfured blackstrap molasses works as good as anything for that and you can use it in your smoothies too. :)

Without perfect reservoir temps, i'm pretty sure you'll need them.
Can grow with bennies in higher temp reservoirs, but the bacteria will make a mess of yr reservoir (leave waste) on a
really fast pace due to really high microbial activity. i would opt for some way of water cooling.

Picture below is one of my own collection, it shows what beneficial bacteria did with these bullshit airstones i used to grow with.
They'll multiply like rabbits and leave waste as f***, turning the shitter anaerobic.
was around 24°c back then
