Wanted to share my success that my tea has been having. This beneficial bacteria tea is great because not only can you apply it to your reservoir but you can also foliar spray with it as well. The plants and vigor have been on point.
The ingredients I use are: Bacteria and Trichoderma on Dextrose, Hibrix molasses, and Liquid Sea kelp. I specifically chose this bacteria product because of the cfu count and multiple strains. No other product I know of besides tribus has as high a count but they are double in price. Any molasses thats unsulphured will work and most sea kelp products work. I have even used Kelp Meal with great results.
I brew my bacteria tea for 24-48 and its ready to use. Per gal of H20 Bacteria 5-10grams, molasses 15-60ml, kelp 1 oz. Add some silica at 1/2tsp if you want to get fancy.
The amount of molasses is dependent upon your application. Recirculating reservoir I would only do 15-30ml I have personally tested 60ml at the expensive of gunky pumps, water chillers and much shorter intervals for res changes. Growth is fast in the buckets but your reservoir becomes way too active and will cause issue. Coco benefits are of the chain and 15ml-45ml is fine. Soil has no true limits besides wasting product, excessiveness is not needed. Use your own discretion. Remember the molasses feeds the microbes and the Bacteria already comes on Dextrose and Sucrose (sugars). Your pumps and lines wont clog if you use discretion.
I foliar spray as well to prevent molds and pest like mites. Its apart of our organic IPM program. I spray in flower up to 7-10 days before harvest.
