You won't be as happy with the 4000k. The tray on the left went from 4000k/70cri, to 3500k/80cri, to 3000k/90cri. The right is 2 Gavitas on high. Even the 3000k/90cri has way more blue than the DE and is the only section that stretched and filled in like a DE.

I think timbergrowlights has a2 cob citizen diy for $199

I'm just going to forget I asked any questions and take your word for it! maybe you can just throw me a light together with some spare parts haha. thanks for the input tho, consider 4000Ks forgotten

4x4? no more 2.5x2.5? the 4 cob roleadro will be fine for the 2.5x2.5. for a 4x4 you'll need 12 cobs to have adequate lighting
