Jacks does not need extra cal-mag, only if you see issues. Depending on the strain, you might go 3.6-2.4-1.2gr per gallon but it is too hot a brew for my strains. RIU has tons of jacks threads.

Clean rez, then jacks as it is super clean.

you run that ratio in flower with no additives,?
You don't need additives if your base nutrients supply everything the plants need and Jacks 321 does that. All tose fancy additives, bloom boosters, etc... are not needed.

I run a sterile Rez which is 50 gal I also run to water so I’ll need to add cal mag
Jacks 321 is jacks 5-12-26, calcium nitrate, and magnesium sulfate. The calcium nitrate provides all the calcium needed. And if you use tap water you'll have even more than enough. Calmag is a very overused additive. Too much calcium locks out other nutrients causing problems which is why so many using calmag when they don't need to have issues and their solution is to add more calmag which sometimes is what's causing issues to begin with. I've grown hydro, coco, soil, and have never used calmag with any growing method.

If you live in the states Jack's is really hard to beat. Mega Crop have their 2 part which is a copy of Jack's 5-12-26. Either one of those is the most affordable starting out. You also get more magnesium and sulfur with Jack's than any bottled nutrients.

Seems that a lot of the experienced guys are only running base nutes. Any reason why you don't run the natural PGR's like kelp or triacontanol. Some of these additives are widely used in large scale agriculture because they have been scientifically proven to get results.
Lots of soil growers incorporate kelp and alfalfa which has triacontanol into their soil. Others make their own kelp and alfalfa teas. I use both in the soil I mix. But I will never buy a commercial product.

I use perma-guard DE food grade silica for I.P.M. (pest mngt). Just top dressing to kill gnats with rinsed grow rocks.

You could use silica for foliar feed. I don't.

Is silica worth getting for coir grows?
It's not needed. Some people use it. I ran it once using potassium silicate. Didn't feel it was needed and I don't use anything if it isn't needed. It's supposed to make bigger stronger branches stems and help with pests and such. If the weight of the buds get too heavy and fall over I just stake them up. I don't want any extra stem material in my bud.

I only use potassium silicate as a foliar spray in my garden for PM.

But give it a try. It's cheap if you mix it yourself. Some swear by it but I didn't find it did anything other than raise the pH forcing me to use more pH down to get the nutrient solution to the correct pH. Some people use it as a pH UP.
