So I've been using my Felco 8's for years. Ergonomic (sp?) for comfort during long pruning jobs and well built. They'll last a lifetime with proper care.
What do you guys like to use for pruning?

mmmm felco..... i'm jealous. (i love that spring, it's absolutely brilliant.)

i have some fiskars loppers that make short work of anything up to, say, 3" thick.

although there's a $90 pair of high-carbon folded steel spring loaded shears i've been eyeing up for years now.

I like my fiskars. Super sharp scissors, a straight knife on one side and a serrated knife on the other! I can do any thing from trimming the most delicate nuggs to to trimming wire and sawing through tree branches with these! The spring is kinda heavy so for the really long trim jobs I don't use them I get the smaller fiskars, Outdoors they are great on my roses and and other bushes! they are nice and heavy, not too heavy, making it easy for the scissor part to cut through almost anything! they were only 22 dollars. They take a beating and keep going as well. I toss them around and have really tried cutting things I should have used the knife part for!
