Hi guys I'm just wondering what is the best system for growing big plants 1-2lb each

space is not a huge issue ill be running 6 plants

i was thinking about going aero in 50-80lt tubs but all draining into a 80-100lt res so I don't have to worry about opening lids to check levels and to chance nute mix.

any advice would be great.

going to leave soil as I'm sick of carrying huge pots and root balls as its back breaking from a 2-3lb plant in a 50lt pot :S

i plan on running 1 plant per tub not all 6 in 1 lol

but would a ebb and flow or flood and drain system be better than aero?

I have and would use a drip system with 14" net pots and hydroton.

I have run them all and that has produced the biggest yeilds for me.

You're going to get a lot of opinions here. I might as well add in mine. How tall are your ceilings? How much light can you run? What's your budget? I built a DIY undercurrent system that I'm doing a SCROG with right now; I'm not even going to try and guess what the yield is going to be but I am pretty confident it is going to be better than anything I have done so far. I've done bubble buckets, flood tables, dirt and aero systems. The DIY undercurrent blows away everything I have tried.

standard 2.4m or 9ft ceilings.

planning on running 8x 600w HPS maybe 10x

ive already got lights and fans etc.

u got any info or pics on your undercurrent system?

any other options are welcome!

An Aeroflo grows em big and quick... I usually end up with 40'' monsters that can produce 4 ounces a plant...

Put a pic of first night flower and week 3 so you can see the rapid grow...

i like those systems but i just want to stick to a small amount of plants so the aeroflow is not a good option i dont think

ive been looking at MPB's. im assuming u are reffering to Doubleds "med patient bucket" DIY MPB BUCKETS ?

looks like a pretty good system!

Yes the MPB's.
You can look up my grows over there.
The system is not cheap to build. And must be kept very clean.
Lots of people keep loosing to brown moldy roots.
I haven't had that issue once.
If you go with MPB's. Follow DD's words closely.
And you will be successful.
