No expert here, but I am really looking forward to trying Grow Light Australia's new lights.

The brands I seem to see most often highly recommended here by experienced growers are:

HLG, Amare, Gavita, Scynce, ChillLed, Timber

Then you have freaks like @bk78 that use alibaba Meiju's or something with amazing results.
Lot of people grow fine bud on here with MH and SF as well which seem to have virtually identical products to me.

Intense LED is going to make the plant demand more calmag. Usually it's calmag deficiency when you see purpling on the leaf stems, but under LED if the calmag isn't kept up to proper levels in the rootzone for uptake... you will get purple leaf stem almost instantly after a week or 2 of normal growth.
People call it a sun tan. Which fits.

I’ve used 2 vipar spectral in veg 130 true watts and they do what they’re supposed to. HLG600r in flower and it beasts like an hps
I’ve grown with 1,2, and 3 600 waters and I’d choose led over hps any day. Will never go back to hps if I can help it

I just updated my 3500k HLG 500w to a Budget LED 500w Infinity Board and I’m in love with it. Michigan based, mean well drive, and Samsung 301H diodes. My plants seem 7-10 days ahead of my past tent grows under my new lights. They offer full spectrum white, UV on/off switch, each of the 4 boards have a switch to add blue spectrum lighting for veg and/or switch it to its far&deep red spectrum. I’m midway of week 6 of vegging and have 2 boards in each spectrum to help induce a little stretch. Use code 420mag at checkout to save 10% Off your purchase. grow lights canada has a great deal on boards...they work well.

a piece of angle aluminum and you can drill holes and mount them with the eye hooks.

Its a kit but its easy to put together.

Builds are the best way to go but a lot of people aren't that smart.

From my experience, 600w of good LED hasn't cost $2500 since 2010.
Prices have dropped closer to $1000 for that

Even I, who is completely incompetant in constructing things was capable of using some 3/4" angle aluminum and these QB 120 v2 boards with some eye-bolts as he says. Very easy and there are people here who will help you.

Canadain Closet grower, do you mind me asking what the strips are and what Hlg driver they are running on?
And
Is it a 100k potentiometer on it or a different resistance?
It's cool if you don't want to share your secrets but it'd be nice to slap that together.

I see Samsung and Bridgelux,
For the Bridgelux is it the 80cri or 90 cri gen 3 and what spectrum and then what's the Samsung strips being used?

Aelius is a fairly unknown manufacture but they have been getting into lots of large grows due to their trials and exchange programs.I’m running some as testers and have been happy.Fluence produces by far the best LEDS available though IMHO.

Wow, for the price though (CDN$$) this light looks great. I have one v1 and one v2 already, v3 with the rspec looks awesome.. The first two versions of these lights worked great for me. I'd love to add the Rspec and the UV though.
