Best nutrients for flowering?

I use Grow More Sea Grow. It's a blend of synthetic and organic nutes. I noticed a distinct taste difference when I switched from GH Flora 3-part (synthetic only). It's inexpensive. About $1 per plant, per grow. If you decide to try it let me know and I can tell you the strengths I use.

i have tryed a fair few nutes and in the end the yare all good it really come down to your grow room and how u grow it atm i use a mix of hy-gen and house and garden they all rock unless u use fox farm then i can't help u
from canna to h&g to dutch master , dutch pro , rock ignite ,gh ,hy-gen,devils harvest, hasi, they are all good it all comes down to what u like in taste also like i said its comes down to how u grow u may use h&g and pull a few ounces were i would use it get a few p but like i said its how u do it they are all good in there own way and u will only get a yeild flux of grams not ouces if u are well u are doing something wrong and would look at how u grow rather then the nutes

I'd like to hear about the strengths you use. :peace:

You're having good results? I'm going with the Heavy 16 lineup next time and the flower lineup could use a boost... their "Fire" is insultingly expensive ($4/plant using their schedule and smallest container) and this looks like pretty much the exact same thing.

Well, your comment was what I needed to put that info into a blog post. I'd been thinking about doing that for awhile. After documenting it, it seems more complicated than it feels. :)

The basic idea is to use Grow More Sea Grow's All Purpose and Flower & Bloom mixed to get custom ratios appropriate for the stage of growth. I use a spreadsheet (linked in that article) which lets you do whatever you want (using whatever products you want.). I use a few things to fine tune the ratios I want. They aren't necessary. Just the three base products. I find that the fine-tuning is more about improving the soil biology, "reading the plants" to give them what they need.

It's kind of like multi-bottle tedium. But, instead of following a proprietary schedule which doesn't inform you of what you're actually giving to the plant (the ratios of nutrients), what I do is plug-n-play (using any products) and keeps the NPK ratio in the spotlight.

It's not expensive. Just a few dollars to see how it works.

My first dose of FF nutes ( week 1 flower ) worked really well with no burn or issues at full recommended dose. I had previously used regular plant food but held off ANY nutes two weeks prior to using FF nutes.
