You can squeeze 1941 in there. It came out in 1979. It received 3 nomination for the 1980 Academy Awards. Funniest shit, ever.

Some of my favourite movies are 80's movies. The 80's rocked!
All the ones mentioned so far are great. A few others are:
Aliens, Short Circuit, Scarface, The Three Amigos, Uncle Buck, Pink Floyd The Wall, Top Gun, Flashdance....I could go on forever LOL. I find the funniest movies I watch are from the 80's with all the old SNL and SCTV people.
