best orange flavored strains?

i've always had an interest in california orange aka cali-o. i bought some nirvana knockoffs of the strain actually with the very first seeds i ordered. i've never really seen anyone comparing different breeder's versions of cali-o and have even asked this question before at least once way back when.

it would be really nice if anyone could share any information on any cali-o strains. i was particularly interested in TGA's agent orange as it's lightly trippy description sounds perfect for what i wanted to do with a lemony sativa like malawi gold. i've always been dubious of dutch passion too as there are a lot of schwag breeding dutch growers out there from all i've gathered, but they seem to have at least some decent gear according to what i've read here and their cali-o is cheap too.

i'd really like to hear everyone's experiences with whatever orange strains they've tried and comparisons between varieties would be extra cool. it's kind an off the radar strain, but after really liking DNA's lemon skunk for being less stony than the skunk #1 i was getting for a while, i'm thinking about trying to breed for orange flavor in a strain with a motivational and preferably trippy buzz.

any feedback on any strain's buzz, especially regarding couchlock levels and flavor is greatly appreciated. i'm not liking the sound of how skunky agent orange can get, but it's orange & other flavors sound delicious.

I've never smoked a truly orange flavored strain but I would think it needs to be grown out in at least 5 gallon pots and for at least 8 weeks.

ive had some hash plant that was very orangey and very strong. i have also had hash queen that was also the same.

i couldn't groove with a hashplant. i do not like indicas at all. one of the reasons cali-o interested me was it rep as a functional mid that would be improved with some crossing to a non-flavor dominant sativa, or one that would contrast the flavor nicely like kali mist's original crushed red pepper flavor which sounds like you could get some kind of orange curry. sadly, KM's been watered down to a spicy fruity flavor now though.

cali-o and other orange flavored strains just aren't popular enough to get an idea on.

Agent orange and jillybean from TGA subcool can have some very Orange flavored/smelling buds. both have the Velvet Orange Skunk in them.

agent orange. my wife knows when i am smoking it because it reaks of orange.
nice up hybrid high. the decriptions on his site or on here are spot on.

Agent Orange and Jillybean were nice strains for daytime use and to help with a bad day but it really wasn't something I would keep around for the power.

"tangie"is by far my favorite orange strain. I'm lucky enough to have a local dispensary offering it direct from crockette420. They also have a purple pheno called "blood orange". The taste and smell are over the top with a souring energetic buzz. Like a good haze without paranoia. One of my favorite strains. They're also selling crockette's seeds not DNA's. I've been wanting to give his seeds a go but have been distracted by all the clone options I've had lately. It will be my next seed run. TGA's orange flavors are nice but are not on the same level as "tangie".

Nirvana used to sell California Orange back in late 90's and early 2000. Got 2 orange scented phenos out of a standard 10-pack. Kept a citrus-smelling male and hit my pink pistil female with the pollen. Made about 50 fresh and viable seeds and gave away 20 to friends. Everyone was thrilled, as many individuals displayed an extreme orange scent and a few had pink pistils. The best phenos were VERY good in every way. Wish I still had some of those seeds.

Tangie was good but Kosher Tangie was better imo

nice crocketts seeds sound real interesting! heard dna fucked up tangie when they made seeds lol

tangerine power is agent orange x blue power.....its potent and smells/tastes exactly like oranges
