When starting to grow I would just use plain potting soil...maybe a little worm castings mixed but...but dont go crazy with the worm castings...a 1:10 ratio of castings to soil should be plenty...I use FF Ocean Forest with nothing else added because its hot enough already....just mix in some extra perlite I do a 50/50 mix for seedlings....then when your plants are about 3-4 weeks old you should transplant them into their final containers....and for that soil I would have to recommend Subcools Super Soil...recipe can be found in his sub forum....it has everything you need in it...all you have to do is add water....I hope that helps...whats the best soil to use when starting to grow and should i use a different type of soil when i transfer the plants into bigger pots?
