Best Soil???

Im gonna go to walmart soon and buy some soil because i recently got outside soil and it was soooo much clay kuzz i live in the desert so im asking what should i look for a mixture of??
perlite
peat moss?
and what else??

any general potting soil is fine...its got nutrients in it to start off with and you can go from there with it, but be sure to add plenty of perlite in with it to make the soil nice and airy for your root system to get plenty of oxygen and not suffocate
