Best time to feed

Just wondering when the best time to feed is for example: before lights off, just before lights on etc
and does it make a difference?

I feed just after lights on. Grass doesn't like going to bed with its feet wet, and I feel the same way about all of my plants as well.

Plants are most active producing energy when lights are on, so I figure that's when it'll need the nutrients the most. I don't know for sure so don't take that as gospel or anything, it's just my logical thinking.
