It is unusual to need to plants grow in soil without buffering worldwide
How are you measuring your ph?

If you're checking runoff pH in soil stop. It's not accurate. You typically don't need to worry about pH in soil. If you do feel the need to fool around chasing pH in soil a slurry test is the correct way to test pH.

Unless it's super high, just add somthing with chelated iron and you should be fine.

Peatmoss mixed in soil will lower it. Heavier nutrient doses with nitrogen in NH4 amonium form will lower constant pH over time and also temporarily during when EC is high. Filtered water will increase the effects of this, removing some buffers.
It's harder to raise the pH back up if you go to far. I like to keep buffered at 7 with Lime and use my nutrients to temporarily bring it down closer to 6.5 every feed, then tap water at ~7.4.
I don't look at pH anymore, the leaves are a more accurate meter for me. It helps that i've used one a lot though and have an ballpark idea where i'm at depending on what ratios im mixing.

Ive been having a problem with too low of a ph in my soil..so you can try to use what ive been using..walmart water is super low ph..I have had to start doing 50/50 walmart and tap water because my tap is 8ph and walmart water is almost 5.7-6.0..I get a good 7ph that way..its good clean water but too low ph wise..I dont like to use ph/up/down chemicals..all chemicals have been more fail than success with my grows..I'm growing organic with ammended happy frog soil worm castings blood meal light sprinkle of chicken scat and guano and aloe n coconut water feeding..but to lower your ph get a few 88cent green label gallons for your next feeding and you'll see it come down..
