Best way to get up close and personal with trichomes

so my first grow and it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... Aka, getting frosty! What is your favorite magnifying method for keeping a close eye on trichomes... I have a cheap magnifying camera for phone but what a pain in the ass! Is a digital microscope worth it in your opinion? If so, suggestions on which ones?! Thanks so much!

Radio shack sells a real good one, it comes with light and its really good. Just $10 bucks

Make sure to check different areas every time the more you mess with the flowers the more thricomes you destroy degrade and wipe off so it can fool you if you check the exact same spots every time. At least that's what I have seen prior anyways. I use the 420 scope, pretty sure it's the same one as radio shack just named differently, they are cheap on the zon. Also the more your scope or digital scope can magnify the harder it us to focus in on the thricomes themselves. Since it is hard to keep them steady enough to see clearly.

Best way to get up close and personal is to rub then on ur genitals!

I usually just smoke'em. They don't seem to mind.

Digital camera with macro. Shoot 40 pics real quick, go sit at computer and study trichs.
