Best way to keep plants short?

SCROG? LST? Topping? Fimming? ETC?

So everyone probably has their own preference, but I'd like to see some debate on the pros and cons of methods for keeping plants short.

I've got some plants (see grow log in sig) that started off very short, but are rapidly gaining height. I have some major height restrictions, so my plants need to be ~2 feet tall at the most (from stem to tip).

Currently they are ~9-12", and I've fimmed once. I'm already flowering, so advice specific to while-flowering is appreciated, but please also weigh in on vegging strategies.

Cheers

Also, my plants are already quite dense from the bottom up. So, don't think I'd want to fim or top unless I knew for sure it would stop upward growth. I've got plenty of sites for colas to grow.

How long have you been flowering? I've heard you can take clones up to two weeks into flowering but I don't know about topping.
