best way to make hash oil

what the best way to make hash oil? is mixing rubbing alcohol with your trim, than cooking it in a crock pot the best way? anyone have a link for a detailed description of this :D

it seems to be easier than making hash because i dont have bubble bags or a silk screen(or w/e type of screen is needed.... i have a window screen though :D). can anyone help a fellow RIUer out :peace:

that's the only way I have personally seen to make hash oil, but I would like to know if there are other ways as well, I'm gunna have to make some for someone I know pretty soon, she has a mass in her brain, very sad.

hey bro!

whats the ratio of alcohol to trim? how long do you "cook" the trim for?

whats the best way to strain the leaf material(im thinking a normal strainer, but just wondering how other ppl have done it)?

just wondering the process i guess. thanks

i really dont know, i was hoping someone with some more experience with it would reply. I have never acually tried to do it yet... so im actually have the same questions as you do, hopfully someone can help us both out. there is a video on youtube that's called run from the cure, it has a little bit of a tutorial on how to do it, but I havn't watched it in a while, I'm going to be doing much more research on this in the upcoming months.

I think Vodka would be better for the end resualt of the hash oil smoke but that's just what I think if I don't get an answer I'm gona try it my self

no =/ , I want to do diff experaments to make hash and oil but I want to try out pure THC and Vodka to see how it turns out in the end. I perfer to use THC for making hash and not the leafs or stems just pure THC because that's what my main goal is

I though that hash and oil are both pure thc? and you can get the thc by soaking in alcohol or screenin leafs and stems and buds... I'm not sure I really understand what your sayin.

I just finished making some hash using the iso alcohol it is a fairly simple process. You'll need a couple coffee filters a bottle or so of 90% alcohol and a pyrex or glass dish, and also a glass container with a lid, razor blade and a fan. Make sure your trimmings are dry pout them into the glass jar, there is no need to grind up the leaves. Pour the alcohol over the trimmings until it cover the alcohol covers the trimming by 2 inches. Secure the lid and shake for 3-5 minutes. Now pour the mixture thru the coffee filters into the glass dish, squeze out the trimmings thru the filter and discard the filter/trimmings. Put a fan on the mixture and let dry in a well ventilated area for 12-24 hours. Then scrape off the residue with a razor and there you go! I used this method on my 6 week old male plant, and I got about a gram of good looking hash. The better the trimmings/nugs the better the hash!

haha thanks, I have been looking for a very easy way but every one used other stuff:bigjoint: I had a feeling that there was an easer way

hash I'm not worried about, I'm going to pick up the bubbleator machine that fdd used to use before he got the huge fucker this weekend... I want to know about making the oil. for hash right now i just press all the kief that I get from my box that holds the weed I break up. gotta love the boxes that got the screens in them...:)

wait it's oil? now I'm just confused... I thought that once that dried, it was regular hash, I thought you had to like cook off the alcohol in order for it to be oil.

There is a guy on here called humboldt,, look him up,, he has step by step instructions on how to do hash oil all different way,, very easy,, very informative, short and sweet and to the point,, you gotta see this..
