Best Yield Possible Under CA MM Laws

I am a CA medical patient and am not looking to push any legal limits. NORMLCA says 6 mature and 12 immature plants (every clone counts as a plant). I have grown commercially (legally) but this will be purely my personal for fun grow in my house and thus am keeping everything as legal as possible. I have experience with perpetual grows, where i would have 3 sets of plants going at once near harvest time (one group flowering one veging and a tray of babies) but with the plant restraints i doubt this would be ideal as it would only leave 2 plants flowering at a time.

I have a 3x2x5 flowering area (total space, workable space will be lower with hood and such) and a 600w aircooled HPS. Also a veg area with T5.

Basically my question's are:
How would you recommend growing to have the best yield in these circumstances?
Would a 1 ft mother plant be considered a mature or immature plant?

As i see it i really only have two options.

I can start with clones from a friend and begin a cycle of 3 in flower and 3 in veg and just take clones off the ladies as they go into flower and keep it perpetual like that.

or

Get 6 babies, veg em out like crazy under both the HPS and T5 and train the hell out of these 6 to best fit this area. Get new clones every cycle. I have many growing friends with good genetics and clones would not be an issue.

Thanks

think i found my answer (use the search option asshole) :)

i think if i run 2 bushes, and clone them at 2-3 weeks into 12/12 it will work out great. The whole 2 month cycle (fast strain) may get extended but look at the monsters this method makes.

I STILL HAVE A QUESTION!

Would it be legal for me to have 2 plants in flower and like 8 clones? or could i only have 4 clones? Because cloning flowering plants is a bitch and i'm not going to get two lovely ladies every time with only 4 clones.

ya i had a doc give me a rec that i could have 100 plants and 3 kilos of dry. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THE POLICE OR JUDICIAL SYSTEM AGREES!

Except for the Fed's, I think that's exactly what it means! The Po-po and the Judicial System don't really have to agree; they just have to abide by what the Doc reccomended.

Here, in California, the various County "Guidlines" that allow someone to grow "x" number of MMJ plants have been superceeded by (I paraphrase here) "Whatever the Dr. deems neccasary". From what I understand, this new arrangement has all been worked out in court. Sorry, I don't have all the details at hand. Perhaps someone else could chime in and explain it more satisfactorily.
