Yes, that is incorrect. The only thing that foil does is create hot spots and trouble for plants. I personally use foil for wrapping my leftover food, never my plants.

What's the difference from using foil and the grow tents that are foil like on the inside that I have seen for sale?

mylar is very different from tin foil. Thats the difference, completely different material.
I got a roll of attic insulation stuff thats 8- some odd precent reflective for $15 at menards... i use that for veg room works well
