Bio Bizz Light Mix Soil pH

Hey guys.

Im waiting for my Light Mix and nutes to arrive right now. My tapwater pH is at about 8. Will the Light Mix/nutes buffer/correct it or will I need to correct it? If so - will my aquarium pH- work?

I dont have any soil pH meter, and the runoff is always alot lower then the actual soil Ive read.

You need to reduce PH to 6.5 - 7. I guess aquarium will work. Good luck.

Okay, got it. Ive read many dont bother about pH in soil(perhaps Light Mix is different?) so im just making sure. Thanks.

So I tried correcting my tapwater with vinegar(24% acetic acid). About 0.25ml from pH 8.2 to pH 6.2 per 1L. Slightly less vinegar next time will probably make it perfect.

Question, is vinegar better than aquarium pH-?
I cant find the ingredients in the aquarium one, was thinking if any chemicals might hurt the organics in the soil.

aquarium one is fine it's just more expensive. if it's good for fish it's good for plants.
