Wait until trichs are 50/50 cloudy/amber for a mix high, more amber for a couchlock high.

Hey all.

These started 12/12 on September 29. The Trichs are mainly cloudy. This is supposed to be a 50 Day Flowering Strain - yea, right.

Comments??
The reason it seems like they are taking so long is because that 50 day flower time begins the day they show preflowers. The first day of preflowers is day 1 of flower. So I am assuming they showed sex/preflowers around October 10th. As of today they have been flowering/budding for 55 days. Start flushing them. Give them a good first flush today, give them 5 days and flush again and 5 days later harvest. You have those 10 days to let the plant use its stored nutes so that you can have a clean smoke. During this flushing period keep watch of the tricomes, they will change. Luck

Btw.....the prescribed flower time from the seed banks are not always right on. Those times are only possible if the growing conditions are very consistant and optimal.

Bxke,

I'll look again. How noticeable is the Amber supposed to be? Are we talking a honey looking tint or a dark, dark, brown resin look?

Bras,

The Black Domina showed Pre-Flowers about a week before going to 12/12.

Shrugging shoulders.

Thanks!!!!

Anyway....

I looked at a couple of random leaves under 100X. Most Trichomes are mostly Milky. Few (10%) are high gloss with a Milky Center. None are Amber.

The Buds look great and still show new growth at the tips.

You cats are correct. At least another week. Maybe two.

Let it ride!!

I'm thinking of Zapping it one last time with the formula.

Comments, hit it again?

The Plant was nuked with the Formula. I flushed it with 1 gallon distilled water w/

1/4 Tsp Kool Bloom
3 Tsp Flora Nova Bloom
1 TBL Brer Rabbit (Blasckstrap)
A dash of Superthrive

That's the Bloom Formula.

You cats were correct advising on letting her go. Day 71 Flowering and looking good.

Quick Question.

Some of the Trich's are amber, about 2.3% of them on the sample. The change is just starting.

But the overall Buds look like they are shrinking. Does this happen? Is something going awry? An illusion - hair shrinkage? Will they bulk up again?

I'm Stress'in.

When all the hairs are still white and supple looking the bud also looks more puffy. As the hairs turn red/brown they shrink and dry out giving the appearance that the bud is shrinking, but the bud isn't doing that. No worries, just let her finish. Have you tested a nug yet? If not do it today. After this many days of flowering testing (when unsure of tric color) is the best way to tell if your plant is where you want it to be.

So anyway... I took more samples. No Amber.

What gives? This plant has been in 12/12 since 9/29 - 81 Days +/-.

This was supposed to be a 50 Day Flowering Strain.
