fundamental objective of the program is to provide complete assurance to medical patients about the origins and quality of their cannabis.
one of the leading testing facilities in the Shoppers Drug Mart medical cannabis verification pilot program. The pilot program will provide software to Shoppers which will give them the ability to track the medicinal cannabis they sell from seed to the final product; allowing both patients and practitioners to feel confident about what they are getting when they purchase medicinal cannabis.

In early June at the second annual World Cannabis Congress, Shoppers Drug Mart announced that it will be implementing a pilot program using the StrainSecure™ platform, a proprietary of TruTrace Technologies, which focuses on the testing of cannabis products to verify their origin, authenticity and provide quality assurance.

According to a news release published by Newswire, XXX was one of the first testing facilities to receive a Health Canada testing license under the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR). Moreover, the company recently received the award for Best Testing Facility at the national annual event held in recognition of Canadian cannabis professionals and companies, the O’Cannabiz Awards Gala.

Nevin McDougall, President and Chief Commercial Officer of A&L, said in the news release: “We provide the full range of services required by xxxxxx and Shoppers, and we are proud to support the transparency and accountability goals of this Pilot Program. Our capabilities in testing through all stages of the cannabis production cycle will fully support the quality assurance mandate of Shoppers.”

Shoppers currently provides medicinal cannabis to those with an authorization, but at this time they are only offering this service online.

Holy fuck I hate these sheysters that try and reinvent the wheel to solve a problem no one has. The medical program in its entirety does exactly what they claim to fix. So with the ample amount of wasteful packaging I won't be able to tell where I got my medical cannabis? No lot number or packaging date? Oh wait.......

Hummm...

Maybe there's a bright side to large wasteful packaging: their labels should provide sufficient space to mention *ALL* pesticide registration numbers used during production (like #22399, #26585, #27916, #29974)... Meanwhile consumers may need to emulate the initiative of Dana Larsen by crowd-funding their very own cooperative testing labs just to catch everything, which ain't cheap i guess, for example how much does it cost for:

"cutting edge equipment like a gas chromatograph with a triple-quadrupole mass spectrometer"
Euh...

Honestly wouldn't complete pesticide labelling help consumers with "strange" new mari-caca sickness to select prefered methods of H.-C. approved chronic self-poisoning? Imagine the economy, if only such labels could exist and prove reliably safe to trust...

Good day, have fun!! :peace:
