Blue dream clone 16 days since transplant

supposed blue dream clone, ive been vegging for a little over a week still to cold to put outside, was wondering the stretch shes gonna give in flower. and if any of you guys would defoliate a little she seems to have a decently rounded canopy where everything receives decent enough light for growth. ill probably so some more lst just to give those side branches more time to catch up

Definitely looks like bluedream! :hump:

I got about 200-250% canopy height growth during stretch (e.g., the height/thickness of the canopy section of the plant at least doubled, not from ground to top of canopy). Although, that's growing indoors, and with significant veg with canopy training already done before flip...

I would focus More on the tops and strip the Bottoms off ,It will do you a nice amount of good buds ,Blue Dream is a great Producer ,Pull the sides down and tie them of ,so there running flat they will straighten up ,And more light will get into the plant's middle,But Personally i just focus on the main tops ,and small buds,to hash or oil.Keep topping the Main Cola,Once you can top that top again .

I get rid of anything on bottom half, and then do selective removal of shade-leaves (around center after pulling branches out/down/LST) to give lower nodes more light, especially during late veg... Seems to allow more tops to prep and form further during flower, and perhaps maximize harvest while still getting a few larger colas on dominant braches/main shoots

Why do you think the flowers/buds need light?
And I agree with Tyke not to remove healthy fan leafs. Especially since it's a long way from flowering.

When they're going full-boar in mid/late veg, a few shade-leaves up top that are above lower younger nodes isn't gonna hurt them at all. If anything, i think they thank you! I know a lot of folks do well by just letting them go too (if you have the head space). Just seems they fill in better with more tops while maintaining a manageable canopy structure.. jmho though :)

well obviously, dont think i was descriptive enough. i meant defoliating the the foliage thats pretty much underneath the canopy. nothing to drastic just cutting off pretty much bud sites that aren't at the end of the branch
 
I agree pinching the lower flowers off is ok. It's pretty much what I do. Fan leaves though, upper or lower should be left. The plant will decide if it needs them or not. It won't waste energy just to keep a non productive fan leaf alive. And the shade our eyes see created by them means nothing to the plant. PAR light passes through them. They capture what they need. And the rest goes on it's journey to the next leaf. How far it goes, penetration, depends on the original light sources initial strength. Let those fan leafs power the apical flower growth.

my blue dream is just into flower by 2 weeks and it is stretched over a foot so far... i am blown away, but then this is my first Photo grow.... Blue dream is really impressing me so far Im glad i got me some extra seed on that... may end up pulling some clones on these babies

Its gets a lot of stick from some growers ,But take my word for it its a stunning plant ,with Beautiful tasting Buds ,and lots of heavy flowers.It can take a while to flower ,i think that is the Haze in it ,More than the Blueberry ,

i have been looking at various grow diaries and seeing how these morph into monsters by the 4th
& 5th week of flowering.... every day i see the changes... looks like popcorn popping on the cannabis tree now, and I am like, knocking on wood and not hoping too much, but it seems they are making me proud already. as long as i don't screw something up i can now see the architecture for some monster Buds and lots of them.
i liked the autos because it is like a sprint, you race to the end and if you mess up you can still make it across the line before you fall on your face... but these babies have converted me to the photo side of life.
now, I am a little anxious, but so far at week 11 (tomorrow) i only had a slight tip burn 2 weeks ago when i think i got a little too much Nutrients so i ran water for a day and no more sign.

Robust seems to be an understatement.

so like what kinda average time in weeks do you experience from flip to harvest on yours?
