Blueberry vegative period - newbie question

Hi All

I'm on my first grow. I kinda went in head first with a NFT system. I bought 10 feminised Blueberry seeds (off which 9 germinated no problem!!!). I transfered the seedling 2 weeks ago (1 week germinating/seedling) to the NFT system. Everything is sweet so far. The plants are currently 8-10 inches tall.

My question is can any one tell me or reccommend (particulary for DP Blueberry) how long to leave growing in the vegative state? before forcing to flower.

I've not seen any definative period mentioned - in fact largely searching seems to show its upto the grower!? Anywhere from 12" upwards.

I plan to top the Blueberrys in a week or two, googling seems to recommend this in particular in relation to Blueberrys. Anyone add to this or offer any advice? please.....

Many thanks in advance

Bill

i will be growing blueberry and a few other strains soon. dont fret man, just think ur plant is going to double if not triple in size during flowering. i grow my plants to 12-20 inches before i flower. so i come up with roughly 3-5 foot plants.

Hi, thanks for the info,

I'm using a 600w HPS light and Vitalink Grow 2 part standing at 6.2ph and 13 msc.

I'm guessing at the moment to top in a week or so's time then leave for a further 2-3 weeks before forcing to flower. Does this sound about right? Or even a plan, lol!!!

cheers Bill

My 2 week old blueberrys are in complete shitland. They are growing so slow, not to mention half fthe leaves are twisting... but in comparison to my bagseed which are under the exact same conditions and atleast 7 inches tall with around 13 leaves - I don't know, I am just assuming they grow differently (lol, or hoping)
