I was wondering if I can use any. 8mm hose. Because the black hose, only one I can in Calgary, is really stiff and is going to be a pain to run in my situation. Why wouldn't just a. Lear aquarium 8mm hose work??
You could have asked this in your other thread. Clear hose is a no-go. You will get algae in the lines. You can't order the superflex hose off of Amazon or some such? It would be worth it. It's probably my favorite thing about Blumats.

I thought about posting in that thread but didn't know if it would get noticed. I ca. Get it from one place in Canada so I'm going to buy there I guess. Was hoping for a easy solution like a substitute for the hose but ya just bite the bullet

It should be illegal for them to not put the super flex hose in the kit. Just finished putting together and shoot I’m waiting for the super flex hose to come in. Plastic hose is a mfker to deal with

I was researching silicone hoses because the stuff is great, and I think I'm going to replace all of my vinyl hosing with it. Vinyl gets rigid when it's cold and wants to curl up. This causes my pumps to turn sideways and is annoying when I'm trying to mix nutrients. The 3/8" ID hose can stretch over a 1/2" fitting, and will be easier to take back off. I'm also going to use it on my bho setup for pumping water through its jacket. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XKFSCJ6
