BORED HOBBY

Hey everyone,
So I am working on my first grow. My plant is a bag seed that sprouted out of 5 I had. It is in day 3 of 12/12. Will post pics when the lights come on at 10pm. I also have a couple of seedlings that sprouted about 4 days ago. They all are auto flowers. I have a new tent and lights and other goodies on the way. I will update this with pics later.

Anyway this thread is about a hobby that we all love, Growing Our Favorite Plant. The funny thing is that Mrs. Easyday has been WAAAAAYYYY more supportive of my new hobby than I would have thought even though she smokes as much as I do. ( I think honestly its because it keeps me out of her hair).

Today while we were at walmart she helped me pick out the stuff I needed for a DIY DWC I have been wanting to try to make. By the way this is all while we have the Magical Butter going to Make our Special Mrs. Easyday Triple Chocolate Cookies. MMMMMM can't wait.

I think your bucket looks good, minus one thing. Your lid, yellow lids don't stop light from penetrating into your root zone. I lined mine with aluminum backed ducting tape. Kinda hard to work with, but now the light reflects back up at the plant.

DWC rocks. There’s no better way to grow huge plants. That netbasket is a bit small in my opinion. Check your pH and EC daily. Use cheap litmus paper for the pH. Get a good EC meter. Hanna brand are perfect and much cheaper than the name brand Blue Lab. Check the root color as well. Have fun. You can almost see them grow in DWC.

Thank u guys. That pic wasn't complete. I have covered the lid with duct tape. I just wanted to make sure everything was running ok. Question, would you guys add another air stone. The tote is 7.5 Gallons..

By the way the cookies turned out super potent. Its funny everytime we make them the turn out different, never bad, just different highs. These were made with GSC. I can normally eat 11/2 to 2 of them. I ate one and I am telling you I was on my ass. I wish I could get the potency tested but where I live that is just not possible
