Bout to drop a Grand on an led light, so far black diamond led Looks promising, any other opinions from vets and OGs would be appreciated, I do have a 1000w hps, should I just stick with the old fashion Hps?

Step back and do not rush into buying something expensive and shit. There is a lot of expensive and shit lights in the LED world but there are a lot of good LED advertisers on here who you would be better spending your money with than some shite pimped on youtube my social media sluts who make a living out of pimping out their words to the highest bidder. Soulless creatures that they are.
There's a good reason everyone showing grows on here are using lights bought from some of the quality advertisers.
These guys don't need to pay people to talk up there products, people do that for free when the customer service, build quality, component quality and results are good.

At least tell him how. Like for instance say ok "500 bucks gets you these cobs these drivers, but then your going to have to get a high yielding strain like a Blue or a Space Queen and veg for 6 weeks or more, because 2 pounds in a 4x4 is tough to do ask anybody."

G8 led has pretty good reviews for under 1k. Kind led is what I'm saving for which is over 1k.
Not a big fan of diy leds. When my house burns down I want my insurance to cover it.
If they were as legit as they seem they would just assemble them and sell them in mass production rather than selling kits on the internet.
Mars 2 led and viparspectra led has a 1k watt equivalent seems to have pretty good reviews for $400 but it's hard to tell anymore whether people are getting paid to post reviews.

You're wrong on so many points, lets start with the basics.
Have you ever talked to your insurer about your cannabis plants? I don't think so, because they are unlikely to cover damage caused by your grow and are likely to cancel your insurance if you mention your plants. Now that's if your grow is legal, so go give a call to your insurer and you'll never use that unsupported argument again.

I live in oregon it's legal to grow here even recreationally. Are you suggesting indoor grow lights aren't covered by insurance? Um ok time for someone to move out of mommy's basement.
