breeder seeds vs crossers

Breeders create hybrids f1's and IBL's. They don't use well known clones or clone only mothers. Crossers aren't breeders!!! Crossing two well established strains don't breed something new. With limited space anybody can be a great crosser. Breeding is all about selection, does a clone only breeder really know the true pedigree of their plants? Jim Ortega, Shanti, Nevil, Sandy Weinstein, DJ Short and Soul are breeders. Who's your favorite crosser?

Ok...I ordered DNA Genetics Rocklock Fem seed, and I got 2 free Reg LA Confidential seeds also from DNA genetics...anyway I planted all three seeds and one LA didn't sprout and the one that did was male...so I kept one alive through cloning for a run so I could see if it was a good plant to keep and use any pollen from...Well I couldn't help but notice that it has a very interesting smell even male, but it was so similar to the Rocklock...not kinda similar, but super super super super similar...anyway I figured what the hey and pollinated a Rocklock with the LA Confidential pollen, and every single seed I have planted so far has been exactly the same size, and shape...the only difference is the color...the Rocklock stays green the whole grow no matter what you do or do not feed it and there is never any leaf yellow until the very very end...anyway the La crosses, look the same and grow the same, but don't like it as heavy on the nutes, the crosses are slightly taller than the original Rocklock, the smell is better with the crosses, and the crosses yellow earlier than the original, but they also turn a lot of other colors, purple and such not here and there...but they are all the same so far...Both of these crosses already shared most of their traits from being bred by the same people and what not...awesome plants all the way around..the LA male was a great male, but what can I say about a male....he has lots of flowers, could take a beating, smelled good, and had a super ridiculously thick stem and a nice deep bluey colored leaf set...so I tried it out...I am glad I did, but let's face it...they had already done all the work...I just crossed 2 crosses back together that were obviously both derived from the same original plant at some point...really closely related to one another...you could tell, and you can tell with the crosses all being the same over and over and over...but it is a good plant to keep around, as well as the original Rocklock too...I like them both..the cross is less resistant to mold though...could be because it is just so very dense...I mean the Rocklock is too, but the crosses even more so...so there are always drawbacks...
I figure give it a shot...I mean who cares...if it goes well good, and if not..that is alright too...the best way to make seeds for experiment purposes is to separate the male from any other flowering plants of course, and then take a clone of any females you want to seed...then as soon as the clone gets roots enough to support itself switch it to flower and then when it has a good bit of hairs go and rub it on the male..this gives the male time to get ready, and doesn't reduce a plant you are looking forward to to seed...male pollen is crazy man...it makes thousands of seeds...so do a small plant, because even doing small part on the whole plant is not as easy as it sounds...easier to just pollinate a really small clone...I mean a 8 in. tall plant can give you hundreds of seeds if you throw enough pollen at it...lol

I also would have paid for the crosses I made myself and been happy with them...variety is the spice of life..as long as the plant lives to make me some weed I can enjoyably stick in a pipe, bong, joint, or vape I am happy...

That's hilarious. What's really funny is that pic I posted, is from another guy that met (in real life), that claimed to be growing indoors for 15 years and outside for 10 years before that. He said that he was pulling 27 oz. (dry) out of that 3x3 closet in the pic. He also spoke of growing thai outside here in MI. Lol. My cousin met him at a compassion club and I met him at my cousin's house. His weed smelled like Wd-40, no joke. All that shit talk and he emails my cousin that pic. That was funny as hell. Sure, 27 oz. and growing thai outside in MI.
