To anser your original question MTBAZZ, the seeds you will get will be alright, some plants will be good, but there will also be a considerable number of poor genetics, as those seeds are considered F1's the product of two F1s will be F2's. These F2's will display a variety of traits, due to the inbreeding it is likely that recessive traits will be prominent in many seeds. but this is not a bad thing. Just germinate a few more seeds then you were planning on growing. There will still be some fine plants in the bunch.
If i were you i would save a few of your original seeds as a genetic reference for future breeding.
To bring out better genetics you need to add to the genetic pool that seeds have to choose from. Get some bag seed or a cheap strain that is different in origin and breeder. the hybrid offspring of two strains. ( bag seed x F1 or bag seed xF2 ) will be vigorous and varying in traits ( as many genetics to choose from )
What seed companies do is breed a strain and refine the genetics by growing out F3 F4 F5 F6 ect. ass the crosses get progressively more inbreed you can increasingly isolate traits that are desired ( flowering time, potency, size, Ect) . when they have a desired trait that is ubiquitous between all F6's lets say, then they back cross one of the strongest F6's with an F1 or one of the parent plants of the original hybrid that made the F1's. when these plants are grown out there are fewer phenotypes and the desired traits are handed down to the seeds.
When you the average jo breads seeds you are breeding with either F1's and getting a progressively smaller genetic pool ( but more refined traits ) , or you are breeding with multiple strains making hybrids ( with large genetic pool and many phenotypes and much genetic variation ) for example a 100% indica x 100% sativa would have offspring that are anywhere from 90% one and 10% the other , or 50% 50% or 10% 90, you get the idea.
what i recommend is you germinate half your seeds and choose the best female and male, Or fuck it save all the genetics and just let your healthy plants grow ( after all you know your gonna get some fucked up shit, might as well increase your pool of genetics, and you never know what fucked up runt is gonna give you the next "god bud"). Then after you have your seeds grow them out and try to isolate the best females possible from the F2's. clone these and keep growing.
find some other genetics or order it. ( make it significantly different then your original ) and breed those with your F2's. then you will have some decently stable genetics. with good variety for entertainment.
