I am going to try a different type tea. I have not seen any posts regarding doing this..

I had saltwater reef tanks for years and have a ton of organic fish foods containing kelp algae's vitamins and tons of other stuff...
I also have lots of packs of frozen foods like mysis shrimp bloodworms brineshrimp and tubeworms

now my tea will consist of

worm castings
kelp compost
fulvic and humic acid compost
alfalfa meal
a shot of dark energy
and fish food and shrimp I have left over...
guano

now the question is..has any one ever tried using frozen shrimp and worms in a tea and if so what results did you have

this will be areated also for 48 hours...

then tried on my vegatables first to see if any bad comes from this mix....

thanks

Protein is normalyl avoided. The plants do not use protein in its natural form, it would need to composted first. Not sure about dark energy I tend to use your raw produces.

I would think that the shrimp and such would be good in the soil, but don't know what you would achieve from them in tea. I just started by accident brewing fish emulsion. I had some that I didn't drain out of my watering cup and a couple of days later I found a shit load of baby shrimp in the solution. So being cheap and always looking for alternative methods and things for my soil, started brewing this to grow the shrimp out and then adding to my compost and I have tried in my container on one plant (stupid I know but have lots of time on my hands).
Keep thinking and trying new things you never know when you will find something that is really good in your grow

The shrimp I have are the size of a black ant..very small..they are full of amino acids and minerals also...the fish food is basicly kelp and freeze dried sea creatures...

I talked to a professor at UMass who teaches soil science and was told to use Neptune Fish emulsion in the tea since it is enzyme digested fish matter and the enzyme is still present in the emulsion and will digest the small shrimp fast leaving a slurry type product emulsion..he thinks the results of the tea will be very good.
it is going to be interesting to see what comes of this...right now all I use is kelp and fish products on my grow and results are amazing so far..will post pictures soon....also use fulvic and humic acid and rock dust.....
