Bring fresh air through window discreetly?

I'm interested in planning out a 15x15 2nd floor master bedroom with about 9ft ceilings. I plan on running four Digilume DE 1000s and want to prepare for the increase in BTUs, hot summer = hot room. There are other rooms nearby I will filter/exhaust to (or perhaps exhaust into the garage since it stays cooler). Question is, aside from whole house AC that works great and 9 fans to keep air moving, there are a few windows- all of which face neighbors. Is there a creative way to bring in air from these windows discreetly? Like building a dark box that hangs in front of one, tubing inside the box connected to the fan? Room will be bright and I don't want light leaking out, I also need to cover it. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Build a window box out of 2x4 and plywood. Paint it black on the side that faces out, white on the side in the room and use a flange to connect ducting to the wood. Thats how I box all of my windows out, it keeps the light leaks from getting in and out of your room and also makes it easy to connect and conceal any fans or ducting.

I knew there was a solution out there somewhere! Thanks!! Are there any examples of this by any chance? Lack of terminology makes it hard to find, but doesn't seem very hard (I'm slightly construction diy challenged)

All you do is frame around the window with 2x4 and then cover it up with plywood
