T-5 Are Supposed To Be The Best Of The Flouro's So I Really Dont See Why It Would Be A Prob u Should Put Them At Least 3in Away If U See Burns Pull Back A Little Bit Hope It Helps..(Im Getting T-5s In A Couple Months) And I Have A 1000w Grow Light But T-5s Are Way More Energy efficent And Way Less Heat....

those T5's will work great for veg, I use them myself, the spectrum and the amount of lumens are pretty shitty for flowering though...you'd either have to invest in a 1000w hps for flowering like me or buy different spectrum T5 tubes and switch them out

if you're getting T5's you still need about......4 or 5 2ft ones to light 1 plant, you need about 5000 lumens per plant during flowering, 2500 for veg, which is why most people use T5's and CFL's for veg and HID's for flowering
