Broke the stem, 5th week of bloom

The plant is still standing. But i broke the stem when trying to tie the plant down. I heard a distinct crack, and there is probably a hole in the stem. (Main stem, just below the main budding)
Will the plant recover? Will it have any effect on yield, or affect the height growth in any way?

I havn't had this happen personally but I have seen people put a splint on the broken stem and tie or tape the splint in place then let the plant heal, I believe if it is not broken off there is a chance it will be okay. I'm sure others with more experience can give you much better advice though

^^^^^What he said!! Just split it and I use twist ties instead of tape because it easier to adjust or remove!
