ok, so I broke 2 plants, my best 2, and of course i cried!
Make a long story short, i got on the internet to see how i might save them. 
Some said try duct tape, masking tape, electrical tape. Thats crazy why would someone put adhesives on plants. 
But, then it came to me plumbers tape, ah yep, no adhesive! I made a splints with the teflon tape to give them support until they healed about a week and saved them!
The teflon is easy to remove and did not damage my plants at all. So i'm posting this for GP.....
