Brown frown

Hey all, I’ve got a few grows under my belt and my stuff is good enough I suppose, but I have a question. I just recently picked up some indoor from another person and theirs is a lot more green than mine, mine seems to always end up closer to brown. Am I harvesting too late, or letting them dry for too long on the drying rack, or what? I think last time I cut the buds, let them dry for a day, then trimmed the buds, another day of drying, and then into jars for a month or more.
Thanks for any advice.

Maybe genetics? Maybe drying too early? or fucking up the cure in some way? are you confident with your curing and dryin? if yes probably genetics I cant think of another reason but maybe someone does

What does the bud look like when you harvest? Green? I usually dry longer than 2 days before jarring, and that's because it usually take a few days, up to a week to get dry enough to jar and even once I jar it it usually snaps back some moisture but that's ok because as I burp it for a couple few weeks that moisture goes away.

Pretty confident in my curing, large jars, popping the seal every day for the first few days, and they're in the jars with the 65% two way humidity packs. I'll probably research drying more. I think I'll try to get them in the jars faster.

from my experience and what I gather from others who grow, drying should take a long time. If its taking just couple days you should make it longer with right humididty and temps, the dream goal is 2 weeks but usually 1.5ish is good drying

I don't recall exactly what they looked like when I cut them down, I use my microscope to see when the trichomes start turning amber, maybe I'll try cutting it sooner rather than later next time.
