Brown spots on leaves

I'm posting from my phone for now so no pics but I have an issue with one of my plants. Up until Testerday my plants were totally fine. But now one of them has these dark brown spots on the leaves. Reminds me of freckles or chocolate chips. Does anyone know what this is from?

potassium or magnesium deficiency maybe? Hard to know without pics.

Based ok that illustration it's magnesium. How do I fix it?
