Hi, guys, only been a member since maybe 3 weeks, got unit on 4-20, had 10 good seeds. everything was fine until 3 days ago when this happened.
Using distilled water @ 300 ppm moondust, 400w MH and adjusted ph of 6 to 6.5
I have read all over what i could (on this coloring issue, like everything else I try and see what the "elders" have written) but its pretty confusing info, even from rollitup it looks like there isnt one thing in a deficiancy that has multiple symptoms, so i cant rule anything out, i failed biology but passed horticulture lol so if one of you fine peeps help me out it would be appreciated, greatly.
BTW you guys can prolly see, but using the hydrocorrals, fogger, airpump, along with drip system.

Ph is a tad high....i never let it pass 6............in hydroponics.........whats your res temps???.........and your ppms might be too low...usually when the prob starts from the bottom it is because of a deficiency

i will check res temp, if i set the ph to 7 for a few days, would they look like this, its been brought down to 6 6.5 , and should i go lower then, if you dont let it past what do you "strive for" thanks JC for your help btw, temp probe not working below 90, so as a guess, 85deg, but will get back to you, should i let it drip or pour onto the hydrocorrels?

Yeah it could of been your ph that could of prevented certain nutrients to be absorbed,I start my ph at 5 and let it go all the way up to 6 before I add ph down.......if your res temp is 85 that could be another problem as well.....high root zone temperatures, will decrease dissolved oxygen levels. Rapid plant growth and low dissolved oxygen levels can cause oxygen deprivation which in turn can result in infection by pathogens such as pythium root rot......you should get your reservoir temps between 68-75 degrees........if you don't have a water chiller you can use 1-2 liter bottles and freeze them......then add them to your reservoir as needed

So it's not nute burn then? I dis not think so, the reason it's only 300 ppm is had weird directions said 300 to 600. I reasoned 300 for distilled and then 600 for tap, but now maybe thinking that wasn't or isn't the case?
Again anyone and everyone that can help

Read my prior post...I edited and added some more info....... here is a ppm feeding chart I follow below.......of course some strains can handle more nutrients than others but I do believe your high res temps, high ph and maybe low ppm combined is the source of the problems your are currently having...first and foremost you should lower your reservoir temps......

Seedlings, Early Sprouts 100 to 250 First set of true leaves

Early Vegging 300 to 400 4-6 set of true leaves

Full Vegetation 450 to 700

Early Blooming 750 to 950 Week 1-2

Full Mature Blooms 1000 to 1600 Week 3-7

OK so i looked at res and its 78, on the high side then, damn i just checked them again, ph is around 5.5-6.0 and ppm 425 @ 78 deg water temp and 85.5F to 89.9F also 40% RH ,shit, there is a purple vein on top of some stems, what sign is that of? is it? lacking something, you guys (lol someone) mentioned it on here but didnt say why they had asked? im going to lose this whole little crop, unit was a gift, i was hoping to repay the kindness with first harvest(within reason lol)....again thanks for the help, i will freeze something small enough to fit, most plastic bottles to big for lil res o mine, i would hope with the fogger and bubbler it would oxygenate even at 78F, i could make distilled ice cubes........but that aint to efficiant

about 18"X24"x8 its small, 14 pods. Dude, first off, man thanks, from the bottom of my heart, well you know what this means to me, i dont have to tell you, but seroiusly, you da MAN! they looked 50X better already today, the drooping is leaving, there perking up, I did however, late last night, after it froze, put a gatoraid bottle (small) in res as it was 78 to 80deg was tired and half asleep, so didnt check to see what it brought it down too, and that after changing PH down and NUTES up as per your instuctions, I am hoping to not have to cool res because with the auto float, pump, fogger and airhose seeper there isnt alot of room, i could run a small, and i mean small so it might not even work, tiny coil and just let water "run" through it to slowly to draw BTU's from resDSC03287.jpg

Glad to hear it bro...I'm always happy to help a fellow grower.......I know how frustrating it can be when problems occur.......you might want to consider getting a bigger res...not only will it stay cooler your ph and ppms won't fluctuate as much meaning considerably less maintenance.....ohh and putting your res on straight concrete helps to keep temps down......

It's a small unit from sunlight sheds, pretty limited, did they look like water burn to u? I try to keep them dry, but....
BTW nice job with the tent, my sisters ( were all over 40) thinks your the MAN after I showed them some of your pics, wow, so u definately have a few more fans now!
I am having some trouble with heat due to air cond turning off early early because rest house gets soo cold, but the room with unit keeps generating heat, unlike rst of the house, noticed it gets up to 91.7! Don't know what to do about this phenom
